Instructions forMicrosoft Outlook 2007
- From the Start menu, click the ‘E-mail’ icon.
- Click ‘Tools’, then select ‘Account Settings...’.
- Click ‘New’.
- Select ‘Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP’, then click ‘Next’.
- Tick the box ‘Manually configure server settings or additional server types’, then click ‘Next’.
- Select ‘Internet E-mail’, then click ‘Next’.
- Enter the following:
Your Name: Your Name E-mail Address: username@supernerd.com.au Account Type: POP3 Incoming server: mail.supernerd.com.au Outgoingmail server (SMTP): smtp.supernerd.com.au E-mail username: yourusername@supernerd.com.au Password: password Remember password: tick
Then click ‘Next’. - Click ‘Finish’.
- Click ‘Close’. You can now Send and Receive emails using your new SuperNerd email address.

Instructions forWindows Mail 2007
- From the Start menu, click the ‘E-mail’ icon.
- Click ‘Tools’, then select ‘Accounts’.
- In the Internet Accounts window, click ‘Add’.
- Select E-mail Account, then click ‘Next’.
- Enter Display name, then click ‘Next’.
- Enter your SuperNerd ‘E-mail address’: yourusername@supernerd.com.au.
Then click ‘Next’. - Select POP3 from the drop down menu.
Enter the following:
‘Incoming’: mail.supernerd.com.au
‘Outgoing’: smtp.supernerd.com.au
Click ‘Next’. - Enter the following:
‘E-mail username’: yourusername
‘Password’: password
Select or deselect the Remember password box, depending on your preference.
Click ‘Next’. - Click ‘Do not download my e-mail at this time’, then click ‘Finish’.

Instructions forMozilla Thunderbird 2.0+
- Open Thunderbird by double clicking on the ‘Mozilla Thunderbird’ icon on your desktop. If any pop up windows appear, click ‘Cancel’ or ‘Work Offline’.
- Click on ‘Tools’ then select ‘Account Settings’.
- Click ‘Outgoing Server (SMTP)’ and click on ‘Add’
- Fill out the following information:
Server Name: smtp.supernerd.com.au
Untick ‘Use name and password’.
Set the ‘Use secure connection’ dotpoint to ‘No’. - Click ‘Add Account...’
- Select ‘Email Account’ and click ‘Next’.
- In the ‘Your Name’ field, type the name that you would like displayed on sent emails.
In the ‘Email Address’ field, type your supernerd email address: yourusername@supernerd.com.au
Then click ‘Next’. - Set ‘Incoming Server’ to POP and type: mail.supernerd.com.au in the ‘Incoming Server’ field.
Then click ‘Next’. - Fill in both fields with your SuperNerd Email Address:
yourusername@supernerd.com.au
Then click ‘Next’. - In the ‘Account Name’ field, type your SuperNerd Email Address: yourusername@supernerd.com.au
Then click ‘Next’ - Click ‘Finish’.
Thunderbird is now configured for Supernerd Email.

- Open Outlook XP/2003.
- If any pop up windows appear, click ‘Cancel’ or ‘Work Offline’. Click ‘Tools’ then select ‘E-mail Accounts’.
- Select ‘Add a new e-mail account’ and click ‘Next’.
- Select ‘POP3’, then click ‘Next’.
- Fill in the following information:
Your Name: Type the name that you would like displayed on your sent emails. Then click ‘Next’. - Click ‘Finish’.
Your Outlook XP/2003 is now configured for Supernerd Email.

Instructions forMicrosoft Outlook Express 5 or 6
- Open Outlook Express by double clicking on the ‘Outlook Express’ icon on your desktop.
- If any pop up windows appear, click ‘Cancel’ or ‘Work Offline’.
- Click ‘Tools’ then ‘Accounts’.
- Go to the ‘Mail’ tab.
- Click ‘Add’ and select ‘Mail’.
- Type the name that you would like displayed on your sent emails in the ‘Display Name’ box. Then click ‘Next’.
- In the ‘E-mail address’ field, type in your Supernerd Email address: yourusername@supernerd.com.au. Then click ‘Next’.
- Fill in the following information:
My incoming mail server is a: POP3 Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: mail.supernerd.com.au Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: smtp.supernerd.com.au
Then click ‘Next’. - In the ‘Account Name’ field, type your new supernard Email Address: yourusername@supernerd.com.au
In the ‘Password’ field, type in your Password and tick ‘Remember Password’.
Then click ‘Next’. - Click ‘Finish’ and then click ‘Close’.
Your Outlook Express is now configured for Supernerd Email.

If the icon is not on your desktop, click ‘Start’ on your task bar. Select ‘Run’ and type: ‘msimn’ in the run box.

Then click ‘Ok’.
