Why the name SuperNerd?

Many customers ask us why we call ourselves "SuperNerd"? The definition of a Nerd;

"A person who is single-minded or accomplished in scientific or technical pursuits."

Our Company comprises of professionals that are dedicated to Internet and Phone based technologies and services and maintaining the highest quality in network design and reliability. While we are uncompromising in our pursuit of technical excellence we also do not compromise on the overall experience for our customers by ensuring our Customer Service and Technical Support teams are knowledgeable, responsive and helpful.

Our commitment to excellence across the board is not about delivering a "good" overall Internet experience; it’s about delivering a "Super Quality" service to our customers.

Our Network

SuperNerd maintains a robust, state of the art IP network. We boast one of the largest private ISP networks in Australia and deploy high-end CISCO routers and switches to ensure network resilience and throughput.

Our dedicated engineers and 24 x 7 NOC continuously monitor our network to further ensure network reliability. In addition to ensuring network reliability, our skilled network engineers work quietly in the background maintaining and upgrading our network on a regular basis to provide consistently fast throughput for all our customers.

So when you subscribe to a SuperNerd Internet service whether it's Broadband or Dial-Up, you know you'll be gaining access to a technically advanced ISP network without the price tag associated with the major carriers.

Don’t pay higher prices than you should for quality Internet services

SuperNerd offers quality Dialup , ADSL Broadband and HomePhone services at very reasonable and affordable prices. Our major competitors will charge up to 20% more in monthly and installation prices yet give much less in monthly usage allowances. SuperNerd believes in fair prices in return for providing a quality service and this is how we create long lasting relationships with our customers.

Our internet access networks are extensive and very fast and we cover most of Australia. If you have access to a normal telephone line, we can provide you with an amazingly fast ADSL1, ADSL2+ or a simple Dialup service.

If you are often travel around Australia for work (or any other reason) you'll be glad to know that our Dialup service will allow you to dial into our extensive network for the cost of a local call (there might be additional surchages levied by the hotel or motel).

Change Plans whenever your want

SuperNerd is about providing a quality Internet experience for customers. This means that as your usage pattern changes you can select the most suitable plan for your needs. You’ll be able to change between our ADSL broadband plans easily and quickly.

As we always maintain a wide variety of plans to choose from, you can be confident that by joining SuperNerd, you will always have a choice that best suits your needs.

Valuable Extras but without the Extra Cost

SuperNerd is about value; with us you’ll get more than just your basic internet access. With all your plans SuperNerd will provide you with many extras some of which are obvious and others behind the scenes to provide you with a better internet experience.

Free upload data transfer: SuperNerd does not count upload data transfers but some of our competitors will count both download and upload data transfers when calculating your monthly usage allowance. Upload data cost ISPs close to nothing and if you find an ISP that counts upload data, please think carefully about whether you should trust that ISP at all!
Security Filters: SuperNerd works hard to keep our network free of spam and email viruses. Our advanced mail servers and dedicated network administrators constantly work in overdrive to ensure your internet experience is safer and free of annoying, offensive and potentially damaging emails.
WebMail: Many of our competitors will charge a fee for extra email boxes and email addresses however all SuperNerd customers receive up to 5 email addresses and email boxes free of charge. All of these email services may be access using our free WebMail service which means you can keep in touch with friends, family and colleagues from any computer with access to the Internet, anywhere in the world.
Personal Website: Every SuperNerd customer is provided with 20MB of webspace for free! There are no establishment fees and no monthly charges so you can afford to indulge in creating your special place on the Net.
Online Customer Care: Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, our Online Customer Care allows you to conveniently check your bills, download your bills and reprint them whenever you need to. You can also check your Usage Meter so your can plan your usage, spot unusual activity early and give you an idea as to whether you should switch to a more appropriate plan.
Backup Dialup: Very infrequently your ADSL Broadband service might become unavailable for short time. To ensure you are still able to access the Internet during these times, SuperNerd provides a free back up dial up service for your use. Some of our competitors will charge for their "back up" service but at SuperNerd, we look after you without charging you more.
